  35.   `mfnfss' bundle

  38. This `bundle' consists of LaTeX2e packages written and supported by
  39. members of the LaTeX3 project.

  41. The documented source code of each package is in a file with extension
  42. `.dtx'. Running LaTeX on the various files with extension `.ins' will
  43. produce all the package files, and some associated TeX files.  So you
  44. should first process, e.g., oldgerm.ins:

  46. latex oldgerm.ins
  47.  
  48. The files with extensions .sty and .fd should then be moved to a
  49. directory on LaTeX's standard input path.
  50.  
  51. Documentation for the individual packages may then be
  52. obtained by running LaTeX on the `dtx' file.
  53. For example:

  55. latex oldgerm.dtx
  56.  
  57. will produce oldgerm.dvi, documenting the oldgerm package.

  59. *NOTE* Copyright is maintained on each of these packages by the
  60. author(s) of the package. 
  61. Unless otherwise mentioned in the package file, all the packages in this
  62. bundle are released under the Copyright restrictions detailed below.

  65. Reporting Bugs

  68. If you wish to report a problem or bug with any of these packages,
  69. use the latexbug.tex program that comes with the standard LaTeX
  70. distribution.  Please ensure that you enter `3' when prompted with a
  71. menu of categories, so that the message will be automatically forwarded
  72. to the appropriate part of our database.

  74. When reporting bugs, please produce a small test file that shows the
  75. problem, and ensure that you are using current versions of the package,
  76. and the LaTeX software.

  79. Distribution of unchanged versions
  80. ==================================

  82.   You are NOT ALLOWED to take money for the distribution or use of
  83.   these files except for a nominal charge for copying etc.

  85.   Redistribution of unchanged files is allowed provided that all files
  86.   listed in the corresponding package's manifest.txt file are
  87.   distributed including this readme file.

  89.   If you receive only some of these files from someone, complain!

  91.   However, if these files are distributed by established suppliers as
  92.   part of a complete TeX distribution, and the structure of the
  93.   distribution would make it difficult to distribute the whole set of

  96.   complete distribution-set upon request to that supplier (not from

  105. Generation and distribution of changed versions
  106. ===============================================

  108.   The generation of changed versions of the files included in the
  109.   packages is allowed under the following restrictions:

  111.   - You rename the file before you make any changes to it.  
  112.  
  113.   - You acknowledge the origin of the original version in the file and
  114.     keep the information that it (or a changed version) has to be
  115.     distributed under the restrictions mentioned in this file.

  117.   - You change the ERROR REPORT address so that we don't get error
  118.     reports for files *not* maintained by us.

  121.   The distribution of changed versions of the files included in the
  122.   `mfnfss' bundle is allowed under the following restrictions:

  124.   - You provide the user with information how to obtain the original
  125.     package or, even better, distribute it with your files.

  128.     prevents others to take money for distribution or use of your
